Who we are

Neels AI (“Neels”, “we”, “us”) provides AI infrastructure for managed service providers. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal data when you visit neels.ai or interact with us. For the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Neels AI is the data controller for the processing described here.

What data we collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Contact details you provide — such as your name, work email address and company — when you request a demo or contact us.
  • Usage data — pages visited, approximate location (country level), device and browser type — collected via analytics cookies where you have consented.
  • Technical data required to deliver the site securely — IP address, request logs — processed by our hosting provider.

Why we process it, and on what legal basis

We process personal data only where a lawful basis applies:

  • To respond to demo requests and enquiries — performance of pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To operate, secure and debug the website — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • To analyse site traffic and improve content — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given via the cookie banner and withdrawable at any time.
  • To send you product or marketing communications you have opted into — your consent, withdrawable at any time.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to make the site function, and — only with your consent — analytics and personalization cookies. Your choice is stored locally in your browser and you can change it at any time by clearing site data, after which the consent banner will reappear. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with processors that help us run the site and our business, under data-processing agreements:

  • Vercel Inc. — website hosting and content delivery.
  • Calendly LLC — demo scheduling, if you book a call.
  • Google LLC — website analytics, only where you have consented to analytics cookies.

International transfers

Some of our processors are located outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on adequacy decisions or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, together with supplementary measures where appropriate.

How long we keep data

We keep enquiry and demo-request data for as long as needed to handle your request and for up to 24 months afterwards unless a business relationship develops. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form. Server logs are retained for a short period for security purposes. We delete or anonymise personal data when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Have inaccurate data corrected and, in certain circumstances, have data erased.
  • Restrict or object to processing, including processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Receive your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in the EU) or the ICO (in the UK).

Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls and the security programme described in the Security section of our website. No customer data is used to train foundation models.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date above reflects the latest revision; material changes will be highlighted on this page.
